Who we are

What we collect

Account data (email, password hash) when you sign up. Anonymous usage counts (keyed by a hashed IP address) to enforce free-use limits. Aggregated analytics via Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics (page views, performance). Advertising data via Google AdSense for Free-tier users.

What we do NOT collect

We do not store the files you process in browser-only tools. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions. Analytics and advertising cookies are set by Google (see our Cookie Policy for details). You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

Data retention

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Anonymous usage counters reset daily and older records are purged after 30 days. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the respective providers.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, you have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data. Contact support@boxtools.app to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

Payments

Pro subscriptions are processed by our payment provider. Card details are entered directly with the processor and are never stored on our servers — we only receive a confirmation and the limited billing metadata needed to manage your subscription.

Children

Toolbox is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy and will note the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
